The Meaning of Life is to Give Life Meaning

Pat Ugwu Matriculation
Life is nothing worth living if it has no meaning
I was born, knowing all my mother
Have never called anybody father
This was a horrible experience
But the solution was not in sight anywhere.

Life journey was very difficult
Raising children as a single mother is very tough
But she continued to do her best
She is my mother - Vero.

Vero did her best to give us the best
As a kid, we drank mineral (soda) every Sunday
At a time our contemplate can only taste it during the festive period
I drink coca-cola when it was sold at N8, N10, N12, and so on
Vero worked hard to make us smile.

Choices actually is a key to destiny
Being raised in a remote area in Enugu
Awkward things were done everywhere
You have to decide where to belong
I chose to be a church boy

This helped me to gain many things
Things I was not privileged to have
I went to school and graduated
One of my lecturers helped me to secure a job
A job that I may not have ordinarily, thanks Josh

Then life came again threatening
At the time I am supposed to show back my love
To my mother who did everything for me
Most of my love for her was on medical drugs
I didn't have enough time to show her love as I planned
I lost her to the cold hand of death

I was divested, I lost everything
Including my only sister two months before
I thought of committing suicide

I thought of running away from everyone
Except for the love of my sis
I have to look out for her kids

Life is never easy
But we have to keep pushing
I believe tomorrow will be better
God is on my sand
He never fails
